An updated cold weather advisory was issued by the National Weather Service on Friday at 2:05 p.m. in effect until Saturday at 9 a.m. for Berkshire County.

On Friday at 12:06 a.m. a cold weather advisory was released by the National Weather Service valid from 7 p.m. until Saturday 11 a.m. for Northern Erie and Southern Erie as well as Crawford County.

"Very cold wind chill values as low as zero can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure," says the NWS.
